I remember watching the TV series that sprouted from this movie with my Granny and Gramps. The show I liked, but this movie was frikin' awesome! Sidney "the archetype" Poitier is amazing.
Though this is a mystery/thriller, the movie focus more on the racial tension b/w the black officer and Bumfuck, Louisiana. Definitely a must for lovers a good classic cinema.
