Review of In Old Chicago (1938) by Daniel P — 24 Apr 2008
Very good film from 1937 about a family that moves to Chicago in the 19th century and makes a dent on the city. A great cast, including Alice Brady in her Oscar winning role as the mother of the successful sons.
Very exciting ending and very impressive, especially because it was made in '37. I'm glad I finally saw this.
