I read reviews and noticed that not everyone understood this movie, is not about feminism,this movie is about realism of post-soviet Georgia,here was war between Russia and Georgia in 1992. going out was dangerous,so Natia's gift -gun was to defend herself and family that wasn't 6 gift or something like that.
in the frame, where Natia's friend Eka dancing,this was true expression for georgians at that time,they didn't knew what to do interwar period,they didn't had a choice.
