Review of In Bloom (2013) by Tor M — 01 May 2016
Georgian film where we follow some families in the 1992 version of Tbilisi. Eka and Natia are kids, but they are on the verge of getting into the life of adolthood. Slowly they are exposed for more mature stuff, for both better or worse.
Turbulent family lives are key here and so are their poverty. It's all right acted and it tells a rather good story. It looks good, it's very humane and realistic. Still it fail to really grip me.
6 out of 10 guns.
