Review of I Bury the Living (1958) by Woody W — 21 Jul 2007
The title sounds like some Italian zombie film, but don't be fooled. This is a rather by the numbers 50's B-movie spooker. For the most part, it's actually a pretty good campfire ghost story come to life, boasting some great atmosphere and cinematography.
Unfortunately, it all unravels at the end, when the requisite, non-supernatural "rational explanation" cop-out wrecks the final minutes. Too bad, this could have been a really good one.
