The film is beautiful in plenty of ways, though I couldn't help feel disturbed by the parents of the 16 year old young actress who allowed her to be in scenes where she's so graphically raped and sexualized.
Other critics out there have said this as well, and after seeing the film now I understand why. I give it 1.5 stars.
