Review of Hype! (1996) by Heather L — 26 May 2008
This documentary follows the explosion of the Seattle scene during the "grunge" era. There are lots of awesome interviews with bands and the performances shown are really great quality --with the exception of the first performance of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' which is obviously important for different reasons.
There is one poster artist profiled and shown throughout the documentary that is really pretty annoying.
Other than the annoying guy, the documentary is pretty solid and cool.
