Review of Howl (2010) by Jeff L — 16 Oct 2010
I really enjoyed this art film. And that is exactly what it is - an ART FILM. James Franco captured Allen Ginsberg very well and he was excellent in the film. I really enjoyed how they used the court trial as the center piece of the movie with the reading of "Howl" throughout the movie.
Jon Hamm being cast as the publishers lawyer was genius especially given the time period of the movie. I was hoping that there was more movie by the time it was over and in a good way. I wanted to know more.
