Review of Housebound (2014) by Chok S — 21 Oct 2014
Not many horror/comedy films that can really scared the shit out of you while leaving you laughed like hell afterward, look no furthur as Housebound is that kind of film at its best. The SCARES here are gleefully creepy and will give you chill in many scenes as well as providing a huge laughter afterward thanks to its well written and unpredictable storyline making it a lot more fun to watch.
There are also some GORY scenes here and bloody ones to well earned its R-rating. Overall, this is such a bloody brilliant horror/comedy film from New Zealand that really brings out the best in both genres it's trying to be and never fails to entertain from the start till finish.
Easily my best horror/comedy of this year and perhaps in decade (if not counting zombie/comedy ones). [A].
