Review of House of Sand and Fog (2003) by Elanor M — 10 Jul 2008

The most beautiful and tragic film I have ever seen. Ben Kingsley is fantastic and shows us why he is one of the worlds most outstanding actors. The tragic ending to the film leaves me in tears and feeling utterly drained every time I watch this film, especially as there are people out there whose lives have been turned upside down for the sake of an error like this and it's easy to see how a few events can not just destroy one persons lives but escalate into a chain of events causing murder, suicide, marriage breakups and heartache.
