Review of Hotel Rwanda (2004) by Peter P — 23 Aug 2010
I almost didn't watch this, cause the thought of Genocide disturbs me, but although it is really hard to watch, I am really glad I gave it a chance, cause it is an amazing movie. Don Cheadle gives one of the best performances of his career as the man who is just trying to save his family, and ends up finding compassion for those who are being killed all around him.
The rest of the cast is very believable and like I said, it is hard to watch at times, but seeing that it is based on actual events it is understandable that they wanted to make it as real as possible and is defiantly worth seeing.
