Review of Hooking Up (2009) by Patricia Q — 30 Jun 2015

I was wondering if I just got a bad Netflix stream or is this movie really was so amateurishly put together and shot. Some scenes had sound as if the dialogue were spoken into an empty steel garbage can.

The ending tried to be purposely depressing, like another raunchy teen romp, "The Last American Virgin," but at least that movie had character development to the point where I actually cared.

However, in "Hooking Up," Corey Feldman does play a Charlie Sheenesque character. And there's a nerdy character like Napoleon Dynamite who produces some laughs. Watchable in a bad way.
