Review of Hooked on You (2007) by Tang S — 01 Jan 2008
Pleasant romantic comedy without a lot of surprises (until the end). Miriam Yeung playing another typical Miriam Yeung character; her fans will like it but others may not be thrilled. The references to historical events in Hong Kong since the handover is a nice touch, but somehow the movie only scratched the surface.
Seeing the long-absented Stanely Fung (who played Miriam's dad) is a bonus.
