Review of Hollywood Boulevard (1976) by Lee M — 18 Aug 2008
Really fucking good. It's great as a standalone piece and not one of those you gotta know its grindhouse to appreciate it type of way. This thing addresses what it is and makes fun of everything about the crappy little industry the 70's movie making business was.
Joe Dante and Roger Corman actually made a hilarious fun movie that actually feels like a b-movie version of tropic thunder... minus huge cameos but the point is there are no fucking stars in these pieces of shit.
anyway. I loved the shit out of it. one of the most fun and well written corman movies ive seen.
