Review of Hollidaysburg (2014) by Frances H — 09 Dec 2014
Watched the Chair, and I had to see this movie. I am a writer at heart and love movies, and Hollidaysburg was amazing for a directorial debut. There were imperfections, but just knowing that this is a first time director, I filtered everything through that lens, and this movie is pretty great.
I think a certain age group will probably like it more than others, I'm 37. It reminds me of Reality Bites and kind of John Hughes' stuff. It's just life, and the way the story is told, the editing, and the one-liners are really funny.
Makes me want to make a movie, or write a script.
