Review of Hollidaysburg (2014) by Moya W — 20 Dec 2015
It's funny, I've seen two movies now, basically just after each other where they technically begin exactly the same. Maybe it's a new technique to get us interested and wanting to watch more. Sadly it's not really working. Maybe it does make us want to watch the rest of the movie, hoping that it will intrigue us but it didn't exactly make Hollidaysburg any good.
To be honest, it was a little bit of a struggle watching this movie to the end despite its somewhat short length. I did feel tempted to look at my phone instead or press pause and do something else for a few minutes before I returned to the movie again.
There were a few scenes that were shortened that needed to be longer and more intense because now I just ended up feeling confused. For me this was too slow, nothing really happened, and all I really did was wait for the end credits.
