Generally, Madhur Bhandrakar`s movie are decent such `Page 3` and `Fashion` or informative such as `Jail` or totally different what you expect from the director such as `Dil Bacha Hai Ji`. `Heroine` falls under the informative category.
The film started off well in the first half but faded badly in the second half. An acquaintance of mine summed up the movie beautifully, `Fashion` meets `The Dirty Picture`. Kareena Kapoor`s acting is first rate though.
