Review of Here Alone (2016) by Greg S — 31 Mar 2017
This movie as refreshing and honestly pretty great. The actress who plays the main character gives one of the better performances I've seen in indie film. This doesn't feel like an indie and doenst feel like some blockbuster garbage.
It's pacing is contemplative and dives deep. Something you don't see in this genre. Really engaging and original and I saw some critics saying it was boring, but if you look at what they generally rate well, it's all super high paced, 2 seconds a cut kinda flicks.
Fair enough but for anyone with a longer attention span than a jason bourne fight scene? Plenty engaging.
