Probably my favorite of all the Disney films.
It has so much wit and personality that a lot of the previous Disney films lacked (Pocahontas, anyone?) that it's impossible for me to not love it.
The mythology has not been strictly followed, but anyone who expects Disney make a movie about a guy who kills his wife and kids is a complete fool. Here, he's an endearingly clumsy oaf who means only the best.
The animation is beautiful, the music is fantastic, and the writing is the snappiest Disney has seen since...well, I dare say ever.
