Review of Heavy Metal 2000 (2000) by Ryan R — 06 Jul 2009

I loved how this movie had more of a story and focused on that story as opposed to a bunch of little stories. The animation reminded me of the Batman cartoon from when I was younger, any of the CG that was not in space or in the sky was just awful.

Billy Idol does some awesome voice acting and the soundtrack is awesome as well. We get to hear "Missing Time" by MDFMK or KMFDM. The movie also seemed to focus more on the bad ass battles and story more than the sex, which was much apprectiated.

Overall, great movie, see it after seeing the first though, not because there is chronology issues, but because you need to get an understanding of what "Heavy Metal" is.
