Review of Haunt (2014) by Pablo G — 06 Aug 2014
It is not completely unwatchable, but the movie does have a ton of problems. It feels convoluted and the storytelling mechanism is poorly implemented. There is little to no character development and this is made even worse due to some questionable acting.
It is not terribly scary and it has many ideas that make it seem more like a mess of so-so scenes to make a ghost movie. Ultimately, it is very dissapointing to see how it all feels so shallow and underutilised.
The characters, the story, the house, the relationships, the personalities, it all feels very worthless and mediocre. Again, not completely unwatchable, but meh.
