Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Bruce B — 14 May 2011
Probably the worst "revenge" movie I've ever seen. Michael Caine should NEVER be the lead in any movie. He's one of the best supporting actors out there because he balances the superstar personalities that often play the lead role.
However, he is far too boring to be the main actor. The acting by most of the other characters was pretty mediocre as well. In general, if you want to see a "revenge" type movie, watch A Man Apart or Punisher as those are much more entertaining.
If you want to see an older guy kick butt, watch Taken.
