It is a relatively low budget post apocalyptic film with killer robots and Iggy Pop it should be utter rubbish but it is actually brilliant. It works because it is simple a combination on the tension and the dark sets reminded me of Alien.
It works because it is what it is, it doesnâ??t try to be cleaver or epic, it is a personal struggle. I am pleased to say after many years it looks like Richard Stanley is back directing with Vacation due out later this year and The Bones of the Earth rumoured for 2010.
