Review of Hannibal (2001) by Sally J — 27 Feb 2010
I can't recall how many times I must have seen this. Owning a copy of the special features DVD is most worth it. Maybe it did not live up to the expectations of many who's a loyal fan of "Silence of the Lamb".
But I find myself liking Hannibal alot better. Like wine, both Lecter & Clarice has aged & have became more refined, giving the whole film such elegance. Unlike in SOTL, Hannibal was more a monstrous Cannibal.
I like the script, beautifully crafted with Sir Anthony Hopkins brilliant performance. Truly remarkable piece this is. I'm so obsessed with Hannibal. Is there truly such a refine man? :).
