Review of Hamlet (1990) by Katy C — 22 May 2008
Hamlet was my Matric setwork Shakespeare, and our sweet teacher took us rowdy bunch of adolescents to see this film because she was sure we wouldn't actually read the play otherwise. Aah, sentimental value.
I'd love to see it again, in the context of everything I've seen since. I wonder if this was a precursor to the later Gibbo-fests...?
