Review of Gypsy Colt (1954) by Brenda M — 20 Jan 2014
Remake of "Lassie, Come Home" but with a girl and her horse instead of a collie. Kindly farmers Ward Bond and Frances Dee are hit by hard times and forced sell their daughters beloved horse to a rich man who wants use him as a race horse.
It's all pretty lightweight and silly, but I love Ward Bond and you also get to see a young Lee Van Cleef as an mean race horse trainer. My 4 year old liked it a lot.
