Yes, I am the friend of thumbsucker (below) who made her rent this movie. Or rather, I rented it but I made her watch it with me. I am a huge David Bowie fan, but even the great Davey Jones [Bowie] couldn't save this movie from being possibly the worst film I have ever seen.
No joke. The acting was terrible, the sound was just confusing, and how could this have EVER been produced? Somebody actually looked at this script and thought, "Hell yes. This looks like a winner to me! Where do I sign to give you my money? It will certainly earn it's budget back instantly.
" But who knows, it may have -- considering it looks like the budget was around $200. Why, Bowie, WHY? They better have either drugged you, or you were strapped for cash, buddy. Or MAYBE it was just a Texan David Bowie impersonator! I sort of feel generous giving it one star.
