Review of Guns, Girls and Gambling (2012) by Jason U — 15 May 2013
Seriously, Gary Oldman as an Elvis impersonator is enough to earn this one three stars. Fortunately, that's not all it has going for it. Twists? Check. Turns? Check? "Little person?" Yep.
Smart dialogue, knowing nods to cliched film characters and some genuine surprises. If you can't have a good time with this, you probably either think Tarantino was the first guy to ever make an action picture, or you just need to chill out.
Okay, so it's a little heavier on the guns and gambling than the girls. We all have our flaws.
