Review of Grow Your Own (2007) by James K — 10 Nov 2007
A film that aims to demonstrate the political climate of the country by showing the politics of a vegetable plots. Fear of immigrants is rampant and people are bought for their votes with money (reductions in tax?) and free phones (increase in pensions etc?).
Incredibly moving and poignant film where you grow attached to all the characters and feel for them within every scene. Truly beautiful and wonderful piece of British cinema, please don't let it go unnoticed.
Viva les Revolution.
