Review of Grimm's Snow White (2012) by Liane R — 09 Jan 2014
I enjoyed the film and the unique interpretation of the plot line. The acting was good and the characters were believable. I have not given 5 stars due to the strange editing / weird things. A "dog" is very close, about to attack and then disappears. The Queen's demise is ridiculously easy and we see nothing of the clash of swords. Elves who can make themselves invisible should certainly do so during battle. Sorry if I've spoiled anything for you.
If you enjoy spotting continuity errors, you'll be happy. Watch the bit where the huntsman removes Snow White's ring.
I found the age gap between Snow White and the Prince a little bit uncomfortably big. Overall though, an enjoyable film and suitable to watch with little kids. I recommend it.
