Wonderful performances and wonderful music in a film that imitates the pop-music sounds of the 60's and 70's through the lens of a fictional songwriter. I love how it focuses on the aspect of music-creation more than any other "bio-pic" I've ever seen.
Good stuff from Illeana Douglas, who really shines in the only starring role I've ever seen her in.
