Review of Goodbye Pork Pie (1981) by Andrew C — 01 Mar 2008
Classic kiwi movie about two laidback crims and a carefree young lass on a road trip/escape from the police mission down to Dunedin for one of them to make up with his girlfriend.
It shares the same carefree attitude towards society as the great 'Bonnie and Clyde' and more than a few times various scenes got me thinking of those romantic crims.
Low budget kiwi do it yourself goodness. It's dated a bit but still a great film. I saw it in the open air with a load of people and everyone was cheering at the end when one of the men walks out of his girlfriends house stark naked hehe.
