Review of Good Morning... and Goodbye! (1967) by Senor C — 25 Apr 2012
W/ Good Morning..and Goodbye! Russ Meyer's is really starting to hit a good stride w/ a formula that would later be optimized in Vixen; that of sex heavy dysfunction. A couple films removed from his black & white trilogy Meyer's ups the nudity giving the viewer a voyeur soap opera that would make day time television blush beet.
I had seen a good chunk of his films & really shouldn't have let this one slip by for so long. It's a sexy whip w/ the venom of a cobra. A great cast too w/ regular Stuart Lancaster who's always fucking great, Alaina Capri who just can't get no sexual satisfaction, Haji w/ no dialog who's wild woman hot & even Megan Timothy who I had dismissed as an actress after seeing in the abysmal (but fun) The Mighty Gorga is good .
Not talked about much in the Meyer's catalog it's not to be over looked.
