Review of Going Places (1974) by Mikey M — 30 Nov 2010
This really is a 'bawdy romp'. A delicious 70's film exploring a kind of rite-of-passage for the two outrageous French delinquents who have no-idea what they want (other than good sex) or where they are going.
It is offensive in a similar vein to Clockwork Orange and puts a strong finger against the pulse that pumped from the French 'New Wave' and 'New Hollywood' generations. No surprise that Depardieu shot to fame after this.
