Review of Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972) by Jim A — 05 Mar 2014

While Godzilla movies are never exactly high class art movies this one is one of the cheapest even by the series silly standards. The only thing it has going for it is that Gigan is a pretty cool creation it introduces.

But with shameless stock footage from previous movies, a suit that seems to be falling apart this one feels extremely cheap. The story with human characters involving space cockroaches is just weird and takes too long to get going but the worst is that it actually has Godzilla talk and it even screws up his roar.

Lame low budget crap.
