Review of Girl 6 (1996) by Andrew S — 03 May 2008

This is more along the lines of She Hate Me. You could even say Spike's first attempt and a different angle. Spike is know who his comedy and drama but here he ventures into more dark waters and that's not a particular bad thing.

Once again he embraces controversial subject matter with confidence and he crafts a unique film with strong performances. The film certainly suffers from a lack of direction. But I feel it's still a good film in it's own right.

There some very strong performances and interesting characters. Theresa Randle gives a knock out performance for one thing.
