Review of Giordano Bruno (1973) by Dark E — 10 Jan 2013
Giordano Bruno is a 1973 film directed by Giuliano Montaldo. The story is about the process called against Giordano Bruno, philosopher of 1500, he wrote and said theories against the Holy Church. The film is about a man a victim of power, that does not give up his ideas despite the constant torture and its philosophy.
Excellent interpretation of Gian Maria Volonte, especially photography of Vittorio Storaro, a magnificent reconstruction of Venice in 1500 and fantastic music by Ennio Morricone.
