This movie is an interpretation of the life of Soe Hok Gie, a young Chinese Indonesian activist who lived in the 1960's. Nicholas Saputra who played as Gie had showed his exceptional acting talent.
Some scenes that were supposed to be dramatic fell flat up to the end of the movie. Good attempt though!
