Many get into a long bloated argument with me whenever I say that this film is the reason, The Matrix was made, along with other notable books(1984), Animes(Akira), and even films(Brazil and notable John Woo films) as its influence.
Ghost in the Shell has been a film that many frown upon or complete ignore, don't! you're making a mistake.
