I don't know about a bad film Gentleman Broncos. I know just about a good film Gentlemen Broncos. The protagonist is maybe goofy. The plot maybe not very original and the gags maybe not hilarious. But it is the more subtle humour behind the in-front humour that makes this movie fun to watch.
And there are some really brilliant running gags that not everybody sees.
