Review of Gardens of the Night (2008) by Henri N — 14 Nov 2009
Great film about child to teen prostitution and the general street/Bohemianesque lifestyle that many of these people can find themselves in.
After living a certain lifestyle for a large period of time, it begins to grow on you and you essentially become dependant on conforming to its standards and repeating the same actions you've done before.
It creates a sort of security/stability in the face of change.
The only cure (if wanted) is time and persistent resistance.
Great acting and directing! ^_^.
