Review of Freeze Frame (2004) by David D — 17 Nov 2009
This high concept genre film is saved from the mediocrity typical of its breed by excellent production values and superb performances. Lee Evans shows that he is as good at a quirky dramatic role as he is in quirky comedic roles.
Colin Salmon lends his usual imposing presence, The rest of the cast, most of whom are less familiar, also do a fine job. It all comes together in an excellent, very dark thriller.
