Review of Freakonomics (2010) by Wagner N — 15 May 2011
If the idea was to give a good taste of what the book is about, it works! Now I want to read the book... ;) All insights on human behavior are simply awesome. The only problem: it seems quite rushed. Well, I need to highlight the best documentary: total corruption.
It shows the world of sumo and how it can be corrupt even though it was supposed to be the example of purity. It shows gruesome details of how the culture of appearances sometimes takes precedence over human lives.
