Review of Frantz (2016) by Aleta W — 13 Apr 2017
This film made me regret all the time I have spent watching junk movies. It was a reminder that there are film directors and writers who understand how to make a film. This had no sex or violence (except for a few war scenes).
It was all about the story of how Germans and the French co-habitated after the war. Most of us have no idea of the tension after WW1, so this is a reminder. I highly recommend this movie for those who want a reminder of what a good film is made of.
