The first GREAT film to come along this year. Sandra Bullock's oscar winning performance is juvenile compared to Katie Jarvis' first acting job ever. More a peek into a slice of life than a full fledged narrative film, the film might not be so easily digestible for most viewers.
But its refusal to play into predictable arcs and cheap melodrama is precisely what makes it great.
