Review of Film Noir (2007) by Abdulkader A — 10 Jan 2009
An animated tribute to the film noir genre. It was so typical in many ways to those old black'n'white detective movies from the 50's yet had a modern feel to them from the technology they use in the plot.
Yes, it has very basic animation and often appears as though they stuck it on actual filmfootage for the backgrounds. However that just made it all the more simplistic like it was back in the day when they were first made and somehow, more realistic for an animation.
It feels alot like you're watching someone play a videogame such as Max Payne or Grand Theft Auto. I suppose I just really loved it because, well, I adore filmnoir.
