It may lack the emotional weight and beauty of The Snowman, but Father Christmas does manage to be incredibly entertaining in it's own right, thanks to the funny depictions of the hijinks Father Christmas gets into throughout the rest of the year and Mel Smith's great voice-acting skills in depicting a grumpier and more relatable Santa than in most depictions.
An overall bloomin' classic.
