Review of Fat Man and Little Boy (1989) by Cory K — 04 Aug 2008
Ennio Morricone's scores are usually spot on, but his work in this film just served as a distraction, almost as much as the cheesy John Cusack/Laura Dern love story. Loved the look on Oppenheimer's (Schultz's) face as the nutcracker suite plays over the loudspeaker and he bears witness to what he has done.
A mix of joy, horror and madness. Pitch perfect.
