Review of Falling Overnight (2011) by Kaitlyn H — 16 Sep 2012
It may be an acquired taste, but it's quite delectable. That was so cheesy, but I think the critics got it all wrong this time. It's so intimate and real to life that it's very slowly engrossing and fantastically indie.
The characters are not even characters, they're real people with real lives and that alone is extremely underrated. They didn't need to be these outrageous personas, and that's the reason that it works.
Wonderfully poignant, and quietly satisfying.
