Review of eXistenZ (1999) by Rachel W — 26 Oct 2009
Though not one of David Cronenberg's greatest successes, I think this film is fantastic. It's entertaining, wacky and overall just a great film. I love the idea of gaming being just like reality.
In that respect, it's a little like The Matrix. The concept of a brain in a vat that's being sent electrical impulses which make it have the illusion that everything is perfectly normal. I adore the science fiction aspect of this film.
